California to try State Run Health Care - Again

(1/1)

California lawmakers have once again introduced a universal health care bill after unsuccessful attempts in the past.

The bill’s latest iteration, formally known as AB 2200, would establish the framework for a single-payer, state-run coverage system called CalCare to control health care costs for all Californians.

While I am not opposed to the idea, it's clear to me that CA will not do this well.

And for a state already in trouble, this can't be good.

If they control costs they will lose doctors.

DB:
They just don't learn...

Controlling costs was the excuse for the heavy regulation of home and car insurance. Now they've got a major insurance crisis with carrier after carrier exiting the state.

When what they do causes problems, they'll just do more to "fix it".

Better to watch from a distance...

Expect the democrats will install a new program, then rifle is into bankruptcy, then declare everywhere they look, nothing but innocent democrats.  Some things just don't change.

I guess the California state budget deficit isn't big enough for Dems.
