Eiswert was apparently removed from his school and reports suggested he received threats and had police guarding his home.

But last month the Baltimore Banner revealed that experts had concluded the "recording" was AI generated:

Race hoax approximately number 398 in just the last ten years. Will be thrown into file 13 at the first opportunity by the people in charge.

Yup, this is a big story here in Baltimore.

Discussion as to whether it’s kosher to arrest him for this.

I say yes, especially if any police authority was notified.  If so that would be false report.

If not, you can’t get much better evidence for “libel” than this.
