Canada recently made a big move to fight global warming: by 2035, all new light-duty vehicles sold there must be zero-emission, meaning they won't produce harmful pollution from their tailpipes.

Ethiopia beat Canada to the punch though only 54 % of the people have access to electricity.  Talk about virtue signaling!

This should be fun since EV's have serious trouble functioning in cold weather.  Maybe after a year or so of dealing with non-functional cars and trucks imposed on them by their government, the Canadians will throw out their left-wing virtue-signaling government, and go back to distinguishing themselves from Americans by being more British (or French) culturally, rather than further left politically.

Well, the survivors might. But 80 percent of Canadians live in Cities, and it's the other 20 percent who are more likely to freeze to death.
