I had this same experience at a Jackson Browne show in Ohio.  He just wouldn't shut up about politics.  Song.  Lecture.  Song.  Lecture.  Song.  Lecture.  And the biggest insult of all is that I paid money to hear it.

Ditto. I listen to classic rock stations most of the time when I'm driving, and quickly switch to another whenever Springsteen or Mellencamp comes on. Or Madonna.
