Bureaucrats Begin Shutting Down Small American Farms
Frank BergmanMarch 21, 2024 - 12:34 pm11 Comments

As promised by Democrat President Joe Biden’s outgoing unelected “climate czar” John Kerry, bureaucrats have begun cracking down on farmers and shutting down small American farms.

In Oregon, farmers have come under attack from water conservation and groundwater protection regulations that make it impossible for them to operate.

This comes after Kerry made a pact with several foreign nations to crack down on the American farming industry.

As Slay News reported last year, Kerry signed America into an agreement with twelve other nations to fight “global warming” by crippling the agriculture industry.

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

Eventually this will lead to higher food prices or lack of food. Brandon's EV mandates will cost hundreds of thousands of jobs.

This is a recipe for people to become dependent on the gov't = socialism.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

This comes after Kerry made a pact with several foreign nations to crack down on the American farming industry.

John Kerry does not have unilateral power to sign treaties with foreign nations.  If John Kerry's pact was not passed by the US Senate as a Treaty, it's not legally valid.

This plays right into the hands of the Chi-coms and the Russians.

I guess Oregon wants to take the "Ore" out of "Ore-ida".

Reads like the ol' Corporate Agriculture using Government regulation as a cudgel to put competitors out of business so they can establsih monopolistic pricing power.

You'd think states would want to rebuild their local agriculture infrastructure to provide more food security in the event of a major supply chain disruption.

Largely only with liberal Oregon's assent. So it is Oregon's doing.
