I don't think Hiker Guy is a troll, but he was apparently the one singular Briefer who endorsed the Biden/Senate Immigration Bill fiasco.
I said it wasn't a bad deal and you guys were more worried about what "might" happen. O.K. Fair enough.
My big issue with the whole thing was that the GOP endorsed the negotiation, and then slammed the door on the bill. No discussion. Now, I can get that Schumer made it hard for them not to.
But was there ever any question he would do that ? If not, why did they bother and come off looking so poorly.
That was my big issue.
