One of the most violent leaders of the Columbia University protests is a professional agitator, according to a New York Post report.

It may seem that the majority of protesters are grassroots activists and students. However, according to this report, citing a high-ranking police source, one of their key players – James Carlson – is  “a longtime anarchist."
 
The Columbia University riots have been at the forefront of international media for the last few weeks.

James Carlson, also known as Cody Carlson, 40, is the son of millionaire advertisers Richard and Sandy Tarlow and owns a $3.4 million townhouse in Brooklyn, the article said.

He has a criminal history dating back to 2005, according to the New York Post.
The New York Post claims he is a “rabble rouser and an attorney by trade” and is being investigated as a possible mastermind of the anti-Israel protests.

I find it interesting this information comes via the Jerusalem Post and not American media.  Surely they aren't trying to cover it up!? :pondering:

There is a sizable cadre of “professional troublemakers” at these things.  They were present at the OccupyWallStreet riots as well.  They steal to support themselves - credit card fraud and identity theft mainly - and they do nothing but foment trouble.  They are, it goes without saying, all leftists.

After DDGing "James Carlson columbia" I found the Fox News and the NYP had covered the story, unsurprisingly.

NBC News and Yahoo! News covered the guy, https://www.yahoo.com/news/were-outsiders-columbia-university-hamilton-120040022.html .

It's well into the article, because of broader context, but the NYT covered the guy, https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/04/nyregion/columbia-protests-arrest-agitators-israel.html .

International Business Times and Bizpac Review covered the guy .... just because yopu found the story on Jerusalem Post does not mean US media covered up the story.

I am generally opposed to new laws since we have more than we need.

BUT,

Anyone removing the USA flag in the USA and replacing it with a flag of terrorist people should face serious criminal charges and prison time from my view.   And if that person is here as a foreigner, they should be deported within 24 hours.  I am tired of this disgusting behavior in regard to our flag in the USA.

Every student actively demonstrating on behalf of Hamas should be expelled, and every person not a student should be indicted for felonious something.  Millions of dollars in damages on a college campus is NOT peaceful demonstration!!!

Elected officials need to get off their posterior and do their damn jobs.  All these people should be indicted and forced to pay for the damages.  And we are not so desperate for college grads as to keep these sh*t turds in school.  Expel every last one with a hefty bill for damages.
