Sounds like the Turtle is making another backroom deal.  He cannot and should not be trusted.  I would venture to say that most of the Senate and GOP know that -- he is the DEMS best friend.

Newsflash Turtle:  The political climate of the country hasn't changed, they are just becoming more vocal and aware of what truly has been going on at the border for quite some time. When Americans work while ILLEGALS receive free housing, free credit cards, schools are closed to house them and veterans lose their housing to them, people take notice. Perhaps it's time for your sorry excuse of a human being to step down!

How despicable. He's known what's been going on at the border for decades.  I wonder how much $$ he has profited?

Nah.  One of McConnell's defining political characteristics is to never push legislation he doesn't believe can pass.  He probably thought he could sway the Senate GOP after it became public, and realized he was wrong after their meeting.
