Let's hand it to White House spokesman John Kirby. He condemned the use of lawfare in Venezuela to keep the leading opposition presidential candidate off the ballot without once even cracking a hint of a smile. Only a complete lack of a sense of irony and self awareness would allow Kirby to do that while also demanding the release of political prisoners... in Venezuela.
The jokes write themselves....unfunny jokes, that is.
