Poll: Donald Trump Competitive with Joe Biden in Colorado as He Looks to Expand Electoral Battleground

A December poll from the University of Colorado, first published Monday, found that President Joe Biden holds a seven-point lead over former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical general election race in Colorado, indicating the state has soured on Biden and grown on Trump since 2020.

The survey — conducted by the University of Colorado’s American Politics Research Lab along with YouGov from December 1-18, 2023 — found 47 percent of Colorado adults would back Biden in a general election between the men, while 40 percent would support Trump. Thirteen percent plan to vote for someone else.

Let's be blunt - competitive for a Republican Presidential candidate means at least a 15% margin to overcome the fraud.

Being seven points down to a guy with dementia who has been destroying this country for the last three years?  That is not what I would call 'competitive'.

Trump zealots just need to stop with all this rainbow-style unicorn farts BS.  If they would just be honest with themselves, they would realize that Trump needs to make some serious changes if he has any hope of being 'competitive'.  Because a replay of 2020 ain't gonna cut it.

There was not a single Colorado poll throughout the entire 2020 election season that showed Trump ahead.  On election day, 61% of women showed up to vote for Biden.  And women represent 54% of the Colorado vote.

Colorado Margins for Biden - 2020
--------------------------------------
Women (+24)
18-29 year-olds (+44%)
30-44 year-olds (+15%)
Latino (+20%)

And the bottom line here is that Trump and his supporters have not done a single damn thing to reverse this, much less even to acknowledge it.  Just more unicorn farts with zero substance to back it up.

I'm a Trump supporter, but I'm also a realist.
Mr. Trump isn't going to take Colorado.
Won't even get close.
