Who flies a helicopter in thick fog??? Maybe the fog came on all of a sudden ... but you would think that they would have checked the weather forecast ahead of time. But .... the sniffer dogs have been called in....

Thick fog hampers efforts to find Iran's president after reported helicopter crash

EAST AZERBAIJAN PROVINCE, Iran – Rescue teams are searching for the helicopter carrying Iran's President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi after it reportedly crashed Sunday amid heavy fog.

The president and foreign minister were flying through the mountains in the northwest of the country after a dam inauguration with the president of Azerbaijan.

The spokesperson for Iran's Emergency Services said that the fog is making air rescue efforts "impossible." The remote rugged terrain in the mountainous region near the country's border with Azerbaijan has slowed the 46 rescue crews, eight ambulances, drones and sniffer dogs. Local media also reported heavy rain and cold temperatures in the area.

The interior minister confirmed on state-run TV that one of the helicopters of the president's convoy was forced to make "a hard landing."...............

It's mountains. Fog can happen in minutes as the clouds are pressed down and stack up.

Why would Iran’s president would be on a helicopter in Azerbaijan?

Hostile country towards Iran

Mossad bases there

Turkish military advisors there

If he was shot down, this has the potential to drag in not only Azerbaijan, but Turkey and Israel into a direct confrontation with Iran.

While I am sure Obama and his adoptive mother Jarrett would love nothing more than to empty the U.S. Treasury to Iran and to move there, it cannot happen. Even though he is Obama and he is a National Hero of Iran, if he went to Iran with his 'partner' Michelle, things would not go well for them.
