Yeppers, that's why he's selling bibles for $59.99.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What could possibly go wrong?, they said.
It would be interesting to follow the panels and see where and how they are disposed of.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Depending on the Bible, that might not be a bad price...They can get pretty spendy, especially on the high end.

Will Florida next be setting bed times for all under 14?

@Right_in_Virginia

And here I was thinking things like that were the responsibility of parents!

I guess in Fla these days, the state is EVERYBODY's "parent".

Technically, it doesn't go far enough. Legally children have no transactional authority until 18... and not fully till 21.

You want MORE state control over people?

Fascism...subordination of individual interests for the perceived good of the nation or race, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

We don't allow Minors to drink alcohol, either.  And it's true they have no transactional authority...they cannot "own" many things.  I don't see this as a "nanny state" issue at all.

I don't agree in the case of social media.  People don't let their their kids watch certain movies and tv shows. There are parental controls on devices. They should use them if they are concerned. Let the parents decide. State control outside the home is a different story.

The cost of an empire

The conquest of all of Britain is nearly complete. It's about 90%.
Currently, Britain is emphasizing Arabic in schools and the study of Islamic culture.

This is state enforcement catching up with technology. The state does not recognize transactional authority in youths. The fact that it ain't 18 is already offering leniency. And I think it should be 18.

Then a parent has to make the account. A parent is in charge of the account. And it will force parental control at the application level. Social media will have to put in a parental control layer.

That's a good thing. Especially under 15.

You know, not very long ago, you couldn't get a yahoo email without consent if you were under age.
I know because one by one, by kids emails dropped out of my control as they turned 18.

How is this any different?

You're right. I'll call the local stations tomorrow and see if they're watching.
