Agree @Gefn  --- and the Queen is said to have 'trusted' and 'relied' on Sophie Wessex to a greater extent than many in her inner circle, including even the then Duchess of Cornwall. Some royal experts claimed she saw Sophie as 'more like a daughter' than a daughter-in-law.

MAUREEN CALLAHAN: It's Royal revenge! Harry snubbed, alone and utterly irrelevant… and our Discount Duchess Meghan seemingly less popular than Lauren Sanchez

By Maureen Callahan For DailyMail.Com

Published: 15:37 EDT, 9 May 2024 | Updated: 17:07 EDT, 9 May 2024

Having borne the vilest of slurs, insults, accusations and betrayals out of Camp Montecito with dignified silence — for years now — it seems they have served up, with quiet elegance, the dish best served cold.

The chill is felt Stateside, trust.

The prodigal Prince Harry, meant to take his victory lap in London as his Invictus Games reach the ten-year mark, entered St. Paul's alone while his father and brother held events mere miles away.

The royals, it was announced, would not be seeing Harry this trip. Nor would he be welcome to stay in any of the many palaces, castles or cottages in the King's portfolio.

No: King Charles, currently battling cancer, was too 'busy' to carve out even a few moments for his son, instead hosting a garden party at Buckingham Palace.

Of the 30,000 guests invited to that event, Harry did not make the list.

Charles, however, did find time to announce, within hours of Harry landing in London on Monday, that Prince William would be named Colonel-in-Chief of the Army Air Corps — Harry's former regiment, and a role long assumed for him.

As for William: He, of course, also didn't see Harry this week, instead hosting an investiture in Windsor the morning of Harry's Invictus celebration.

He appears to have made clear his feelings toward Harry, but the stakes are now truly high: Kate Middleton is undergoing chemotherapy for her cancer. The idea that Harry — and, by default, Meghan — could be ever trusted with any information about her or Charles's health is laughable.

Don't forget: After Harry made that whirlwind trip to see Charles after his diagnosis was announced in February — granted an audience of less than 30 minutes for over 22 hours in the air — he turned around and gave an interview to ABC News.

Did he go into specifics about Charles's diagnosis or treatment? No, but probably because Harry is privy to nothing.

Apparently Harry has missed a few memos.  Badmouthing his family and living in CA and no longer a 'working royal' does not grant him any sort of attention from the royal family other than a cold shoulder.

That seems pretty clear.

Prince Harry ‘in tears’ after King Charles bestows military honor on Prince William: ‘The gloves are off’
By Social Links for Andrew Court
Published May 11, 2024, 12:26 p.m. ET

Prince Harry was reduced to tears after learning King Charles had bestowed a new honor upon Prince William, a royal expert claims.

On Tuesday, Buckingham Palace announced that William, 41, will be made colonel-in-chief of the Army Air Corps – despite Prince Harry, 39, having personally served with the unit in Afghanistan.

The announcement appeared timed to inflict maximum pain on Harry, coming on the same day that he returned to London to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.

“King Charles’ announcement… is a real kick in the teeth for the son who always felt marginalized and underrated,” royal expert Tom Quinn told The Mirror on Saturday. “He is said to have been in tears when he heard”.

“What makes it much worse is that the role is being given to the very man who Harry sees as the cause of so many of his problems – his brother.”

Quinn claimed that the announcement was “deliberately” made while Harry was in the UK to show that the king’s younger son “is no longer welcome.”

“They [the royal family] have decided the gloves are off and that Harry needs to realize that when you betray the family, you don’t just escape the things you hated doing as a working royal,” the expert asserted. “You also lose the things you loved.”

“Harry cannot fail to get the message,” Quinn continued. “His last few ties to his old life are being cut and he is being set adrift, permanently.”

Yeah that quote is pretty funny considering it was Sparkel Farkel Markel who held Harry's hands on the axe that was used to do the chopping of those ties. I doubt Harry will ever reclaim his testicles from Meghan, so he best get used to being as irrelevant....everywhere.

Somehow I just don't feel sorry for Harry.  He made the decision to marry Markle the gold digger and he went along with airing their dirty laundry because his poor wench felt that she was being mistreated and they both painted the Royal family as racist.  She played the race card and failed.

They now reside in CA and IIRC Harry has applied for U.S. citizenship. He snubbed the family, gave up his royal duties, so why does he think he's now entitled to any 'title'? His children are the ones who got the raw end of the deal. It was his choice though.

History is full of Actions have Consequences examples.....

When the royal grift as dried up, Harry and family's descendants will be scrapping for bread crumbs like the rest of us "dirty Americans".

I an guessing his Father's funeral will be his last offical event with the Royal Family.

I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

We'll see if he attends.  I think he'll be so bitter by then, that he won't be in attendance.
