Denmark to allow Ukraine to strike targets in Russia with Danish-supplied F-16s

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has announced that Ukraine will be allowed to use Danish-supplied F-16 fighter jets to strike military targets inside Russia.

"The short answer is yes," Rasmussen said.

"This is not a new position, it is part of the transfer. We made it clear from the very beginning when we discussed this with our Foreign Affairs Committee in the Danish Parliament that this is part of self-defence so that it would also be possible to attack military targets on the aggressor's territory," the minister explained.  .  .

Why would LIEden and his minions care that Ukraine is telling Russia, "All your radar and SAM systems are vulnerable to our attacks!" It's not like Ukraine has nuclear weapons.

Ukraine's war on Russian radars has two obvious purposes: punch holes to make further attacks easier; force Russia to spread its protective resources more widely and thinly.

These are small coast-guard-type cutters, not major targets intrinsically, but with larger fleet units being converted to submarines, whatever Russia has left to patrol coasts and harbors become more important.

Re the ferries that were damaged, the carrying capacity of the Kerch Strait Bridge is still limited. So Russia has been using the ferries - large flat decks, large weight-carrying capacity - for heavier items and for large loads. Mission-killing the two ferries impacts Russian logistics to Crimea and the southeast Kherson region. Think of it as strangulation by a thousand threads.

It's interesting that Ukraine is doing so much near the Kerch Strait Bridge. I don't know if they're trying to draw Russian SAM resources there to thin coverage elsewhere or if they're just telling the Russians that they could hit the bridge at will.

Didn't this whole thing start with Biden telling Russia it was okay to invade Ukraine as long as it was just a small incursion?
