Trump rails after poll shows Haley within 4 points in New Hampshire

A poll released this week found Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley trails former President Trump by 4 points in New Hampshire, prompting online outrage from the former president.

According to a December survey by American Research Group Inc. asking voters who their preference was in the Republican presidential primary, Trump earned 33 percent support.
Haley earned 29 percent, a significant milestone for the former U.N. ambassador, who appears to have been gaining ground on Trump’s steady lead in the state.

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie earned 13 percent in the survey, while Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis received 6 percent support and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy brought in 5 percent.

Haley showed confidence this week, saying Trump is “getting nervous” about her rising support in the polls, citing a new ad that targets her.

   American Research Group Inc. is notoriously wrong in their polling, like most of them.  Trumps internal polls show similar or he wouldn't be wasting time and money going after DeSantis and Haley.  I certainly don't believe he's 50+ points ahead.

Agreed, he wouldn't have attacked DeSantis before he even announced his candidacy and Haley is on his coat tails.

I am again predicting DeSantis takes IA and Haley NH. Trump will continue to sling as much mud as he can making him look like a complete fool.

Ultimately I think Haley, the chosen GOPe candidate will secure the party nomination.

It’s not unusual for Trump to survey donors, outside advisers and members of his Mar-a-Lago resort on personnel matters. He has also pressed allies for their impressions of other prominent Republicans in recent months including former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson, Sens. J.D. Vance (R-Ohio) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.), Reps. Byron Donalds (R-Fl.) and Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and Arizona Republican Kari Lake.
