Biden border crisis helps sink Israel and Ukraine aid: Washington Photos of the Week

President Joe Biden's request for billions in aid to Ukraine and Israel failed to advance the Senate this week over a dispute on fixing the southern border crisis that has worsened on his watch.

Biden offered money for more personnel at the border in his request for emergency aid for Ukraine's fight against Russia and for Israel's war against Hamas following the Oct. 7 terrorist attack. Republicans want deeper policy reforms that could stem the surge of immigrants, but disagreements with Democrats on a border deal managed to blow up the entire aid bill.

A procedural vote Wednesday on the $111 billion aid legislation failed 49-51, far short of the 60-vote threshold needed to move forward. In the aftermath, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and other Republicans urged Biden to get involved to forge an agreement.

“Here’s what’s next: The commander-in-chief, Joe Biden, needs to wake up and do something about a broken border. It’s his job above all others to secure the nation,” Graham said at a press conference Thursday.

For once I agree with Graham.

Nobody in the administration is going to do anything "about the border".

This should have been obvious when we just saw the mayor of New York City (who was once touted as having the "second most important job in the country") sent home dissed and with his tail tucked between his legs for daring to complain about the illegals.

If anything, watch for even LESS control of the border as the election draws closer.

If, in the last few weeks, it looks like the DCommunists are going to lose, watch for ALL personnel at the border to be simply "withdrawn", with the invitation to anyone and everyone to "get here while you still can".

Clearly, the Biden regime puts more importance on keeping our borders wide open than it does on helping Israel.

The money to defend our borders is to be spent on defending the Ukrainians borders, as usual democrats demand Americans money be spent on foreigners, especially hostile foreigners.  As more and more Americans resort to living on the streets.  Bidenomics for fools that worship on the altar of Biden and hate a President that put Americans interests first.
