Sen. Kennedy Wrecks Wray on Why the FBI Didn't Tell the Truth About Hunter's Laptop

FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Tuesday.

Wray was questioned by Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC) and revealed, "I've never seen a time where all the threats or so many of the threats are all elevated, all at exactly the same time." Graham asked if he was concerned about the elevated threats as the border is broken, and Wray acknowledged that he was concerned.

Wray was also taken to task by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) over the FBI's failure to fully investigate the alleged corruption of Hunter and Joe Biden.

But he wasn't the only one to put Wray on the spot. Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) asked him a question about the  Hunter Biden laptop that was great — a question to which I think we would all like the answer

There was all the furor over the laptop. "Why didn't the FBI just say, hey, the, the, the laptop's real?!" Kennedy asked. "We're not vouching for what's on it, but it's real?"

Wray's response was very unsatisfactory, "We have to be very careful about what we can say, especially in the middle of an election season."

And the media should also be condemned for their role in this story. A simply bit of journalism on the part of the media would have verified that at least the laptop was real. Instead, the bought and reported the "Russian disinformation" line without the least bit of skepticism
