Not to mention the Liar-In-Chief. With such a slim majority in the House, 100 Republicans have been suckered by moral vanity. Why not let voters take care of business?

Voters have failed to hold their elected officials accountable and they keep voting for those with either a 'R' next to their name or a 'D' next to their name depending on what side of the aisle they claim to be on regardless.

Democrats Gloat After Unprecedented George Santos Expulsion from Congress: ‘GTFO’

Double standard: George Santos has not been convicted of wrongdoing, but Jamaal Bowman recently pled guilty to pulling a fire alarm.

“BOOM! GTFO,” radical left X account “Angry Staffer” posted. “This makes GOP leadership look even worse. 105 of their members bucked the entire leadership team to expel Santos. Would never happen to Pelosi or Jeffries.”

“He blatantly stole from his campaign to enrich himself, spending thousands of dollars on Botox, OnlyFans, and Hermes, among other things. There’s serious work to be done in Congress, and Rep. Santos’ behavior has no place here,” Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO) posted immediately after the vote.

“George Santos is no longer a Member of Congress, and the institution is better off for it,” Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-VA) posted on X.

Aaron Rupar, a radical left content creator on X, mocked Republicans after the expulsion. “The House just set a dangerous precedent that members who lie about literally everything, commit fraud as a lifestyle, and go on lifetime crime sprees cannot serve in Congress.”

New York Governor Kathy Hochul backtracked after suggesting she would bypass the democratic process by hand-picking a replacement to fill the seat of former Republican Rep. George Santos who was expelled from the House of Representatives on Friday.

As Democrats and their media allies celebrated the ouster of the embattled congressman who was ultimately done in by members of his own party, Hochul said the quiet part out loud about the big win of shaving down the already razor-thin GOP majority in the lower chamber.

“I am prepared to undertake the solemn responsibility of filling the vacancy in New York’s 3rd District. The people of Long Island deserve nothing less,” she wrote on X, previously known as Twitter, seeming to dispense with the formalities of holding a special election that might have been won by Republicans.

Hochul’s dictatorial whims were quickly called out by the platform’s community notes which pointed out: “House Representatives must be elected by the people of the district they represent. The Governor in the State of New York cannot appoint a replacement member. The Governor can call a special election to fill the vacancy.”

Responding to a request from Fox News Digital, a representative from the governor’s office clarified that “she intends to hold a special election.”

The Santos expulsion turned into a sideshow outside the vacated office as elsewhere the now-former congressman teased retaliation.

Friday, George Santos was ousted from the U.S. House of Representatives where he had served as the Republican lawmaker for New York’s 3rd district for less than a year. Wasting little time after the 311-114 vote, a Capitol Hill employee was spotted endeavoring to mark the removed freshman’s final cry of “To hell with this place” as a penultimate statement with an unceremonious lock change.

C-SPAN communications director Howard Mortman shared footage outside the former legislator’s office as hardware was replaced to keep unauthorized individuals from room 1117 of the Longworth House Office Building.
