GOP Rep. Thomas Massie votes against resolution affirming Israel's right to exist
By David Spector

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) voted against a House resolution affirming Israel's right to exist.

Massie and Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) were the only two House members not to vote for the resolution.

Massie said that while he supports Israel's right to exist, he voted against the resolution because it included language that claimed "denying Israel's right to exist is a form of antisemitism."

"Antisemitism is deplorable, but expanding it to include criticism of Israel is not helpful," Massie wrote in a post on X.
