Majority of Americans 18-24 think Israel should ‘be ended and given to Hamas’

A majority of young Americans said they believe Israel should “be ended and given to Hamas,” according to a shocking poll.

The survey, conducted THIS WEEK by Harvard-Harris polling, found 51% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 said they believed the long-term answer to the Israel-Palestinian conflict was for “Israel to be ended and given to Hamas and the Palestinians.”

Only 32% said they believed in a two-state solution, and just 17% said other Arab states should be asked to absorb Palestinian populations.

The figure was in stark contrast to other age groups, which all dramatically preferred a two-state solution. Just 4% of Americans 65 and over said they felt Israel should be ended.

“These individuals siding with evil over democracy should be a wake-up call,” Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kansas) told The Post. “Ideological rot among young Americans, driven by woke values and victim culture, has gotten so bad they’ve convinced themselves to sympathize with actual terrorists who hate America,”

What the Biden administration doesn't get about Palestinian hatred toward Jews

Changes in leadership in the Palestinian Authority or a renewed Palestinian Authority are irrelevant. What do we care if it's Mahmoud Abbas or Salam Fayyad, if in the streets of Nablus, Jenin and Tulkarm, the crowds want to hand over their weapons to Hamas? Why should we care if there is an old or "renewed" Palestinian Authority, if with every slaughter and killing and shooting in our streets, they dance and celebrate on the roofs and hand out sweets?

Someone needs to brief the Biden administration that beyond the strong support for the war goals, there is currently national consensus in Israel on two other issues:  The first –  that after the war, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will have to step down (on that the Americans are actually well-informed); the second – a Palestinian state poses a grave danger to Israel. The fact that Netanyahu has chosen to rile up against this threat at this moment (Saturday night) does not mean that the wall-to-wall opposition to this vision will go with him once he is no longer in office. It runs across the board; it's here to stay.

The broad opposition among Israelis to a Palestinian state – it would be good for the Americans to know – stems not only from the fact that it takes chunks of biblical land and the historic homeland from the Jews,  to which many here are bound with every fiber of their being. The settlement enterprise, in which half a million Jews now live, is a clear expression of this. But the broad opposition to a Palestinian state is not, despite what the Americans wrongly assume, a function of any particular Palestinian leadership leading the Palestinian Authority. This rejection is on a much more fundamental level.

The opposition to a Palestinian state stems first and foremost from a deep understanding – shaped by decades of terror, attacks, and bloodshed – that the hostility, hatred, and commitment to perpetuate the struggle against the Jews and the State of Israel as the state of the Jewish people comes from the grassroots level, from the Palestinian public en masse.

Egypt proposes sweeping plan for Gaza War ceasefire plan

Cairo has put forth a plan that would seek an end to the Israel-Hamas war that a senior Egyptian official and a European diplomat admitted to the Associated Press would prove ambitious.

Egypt devised the plan with input from Qatar, which would also participate in the plan’s execution. Both countries would coordinate with all Palestinian factions, including Hamas, to establish a government of experts, the anonymous Egyptian official said

.The plan includes a phased hostage “all-for-all” release and the creation of a Palestinian government to administer the Gaza Strip and West Bank that would follow a ceasefire.

Close to 8,000 Palestinians remain in Israeli custody on security-related charges or convictions, Palestinian officials have claimed.

Israel would also have to withdraw from Gaza, which would coincide with Hamas and Islamic Jihad ending their attacks on Israel.

Hamas and Islamic Jihad have reportedly rejected an Egyptian ceasefire proposal that would end the war.
The Palestinian factions are unwilling to consider a proposal that sees new leadership in Gaza.
The Israelis have been clear that Hamas will not control Gaza after the war.

The proposal was imo too generous to Hamas and I think Israelis would've agreed by and large. Moot now. But man, Hamas rejecting ending the war and freeing Hamasniks in Israeli jails? As Mencken would say, Hamas knows what they want--and deserve to get it good and hard.

It does MUCH more than that. It "Bails them out of the war before the Israel soldiers can kill them,and leaves them free to start murdering innocent Jewish men,women,and children once they are rested and re-armed.

Which  they have done before more than once,and allowed to get away with it if they would just agree to retreat back behind their lines.

The ONLY way to deal with a poisonous snake is to kill the freaking snake!
