??? Headlines have stated that Scalise was the new Speaker of the House.

Other sources are saying this is a lie being spread around by Scalise's opponents.  Go figure.

Scalise won the caucus vote by a slim margin.  It didn't go to the floor for a full House vote because he didn't have the votes to win.  He still doesn't ---- in fact he's losing support and is scrambling
