 Biden edges out Trump in Fox News poll, loses to DeSantis or Haley

President Biden edged out former President Trump in a poll released this week, leading by just 1 point.

Biden’s support is between 45 percent and 49 percent against each Republican running for the White House, including the narrow lead over Trump. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), however, has a 2-point edge over the sitting president, according to a Fox News poll.

And former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley tops Biden by 4 points, the survey shows.

Fox News also noted that the poll results, published Wednesday, mark the first time this cycle that Trump has fared worse against Biden than the other candidates vying for the GOP nomination.

Trump, the current GOP front-runner, is dealing with a civil fraud trial in New York, in which New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) has alleged Trump inflated and deflated the value of properties and companies.

Nikki Haley Is the New Ron DeSantis

This might be Nikki Haley’s moment.

Not her moment to become the Republican presidential front-runner. (Don’t be silly.) Not even her moment to nip at Donald Trump’s heels. But it could be her chance to consolidate the anti-Trump support in the GOP, and to make a solid play for the silver medal and maybe a good speaking slot at the RNC in Milwaukee next summer.

The former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador has risen, slightly, in recent polls, and is now third in RealClearPolitics’ average of national polls, after Trump and Ron DeSantis. She is consistently coming in second in polling in the first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire, having pulled ahead of DeSantis there. This week, she picked up the endorsement of former Representative Will Hurd when he dropped out of the Republican race. She’s appearing at two major donor conferences this month. Her boomlet is a long way from the big candidate bubbles of the 2012 and 2016 GOP primaries, but it’s the most notable surge in the race right now.

Those ARE the facts,but Trump has nothing  to  do with it. The reasons are because the Dims were allowed to import tens of thousand of illegal aliens to the US,and get them registered to vote,and because the Dims are MASTERS of voter fraud.

Trump is the only candidate that MIGHT have a chance of defeating the Dim Machine.

The polling I saw had Trump beating Biden in Michigan, but losing handily to Whitmer.  A 13 point swing from Biden to Whitmer.

A lot of potential Hillary voters stayed home, for whatever reason, in 2016. Still, Trump did not get 50% or over of the popular vote, and he won only because the electoral college

MAGAs are hoping for a repeat of that scenario. The problem is it was never repeated in 2018 midterms, the 2020 presidential election, and in the 2022 midterms.

So their other hope is that the suffering of their fellow citizens is so severe, that they’ll be compelled to go out and vote for Donald Trump just out of sheer desperation. But even that’s not guaranteed to bring them victory. Inflation, a broken border, high energy prices, and Biden’s  cognitive decline or pretty much known and concerns of the voters and  yet they still rejected MAGA in 2022
