Just when you think the Biden administration can't be any more incompetent, they somehow find a way to lower the bar. That's the story after the White House published a photo on Facebook of Delta Force operators that are on the ground in Israel.

The picture was put up by the official White House account and captioned as the president meeting "with first responders to thank them for their bravery and the work they're doing in response to Hamas terrorist attacks."

The Whitehouse media team shared this picture last night (I added the black boxes) without blurring or censoring the faces of the “Delta Force” (CAG) operator’s faces. They deleted it an hour later after hundreds of thousands had already viewed it.

There are not enough face-palm memes in existence to describe how insane this is.

Putting aside the ridiculous description of the soldiers in the picture being "first responders," the White House just confirmed that American troops are on the ground and operating against Hamas (at least according to the description). That doesn't necessarily mean a larger deployment and a broadening of U.S. involvement is coming, as special forces often operate covertly like this in small numbers, but I don't think the plan was to announce to the world that the United States is involved in direct combat with Hamas.

Now, is the description on the post actually accurate? That's another question because it is very possible these operators are actually there to protect the embassy, a task Delta Force has often been called on to do in tense situations. If that's the case, then whatever Biden handler posted that picture could have just been mouthing off without knowing what they were talking about. Perhaps they honestly thought these were Israeli troops, though, it's kind of hard to miss the American flags on all their sleeves.

The head of an organization that represents special operators said a White House social media misstep that exposed special operators could put the lives of those servicemembers at risk in exclusive comments to the Daily Caller News Foundation on Thursday.

On Wednesday night, the White House social media account posted, and then deleted, a photo of President Joe Biden meeting with special forces personnel in Israel that exposed their faces — and thus identities. David Cook, the executive director for the Special Operations Association of America, told the DCNF the security breach could not only endanger the lives and careers of the operators exposed in the photo but give Hamas, whom the U.S. is helping Israel defeat, a “huge propaganda win.”

“I don’t even know what to say. These are horrible operational security failures,” Cook told the DCNF.

“The risk is high. These guys that got pictured, it could ruin their careers. They could put their families in danger. It could put them in danger,” Cook told the DCNF.

Accidently my @SS! This administration is loaded with socialists who not only hate America but our Military, the POS that made the post probably was giddy with making a twofer, outing Special Forces members while trying to butch up an incompetent Alzheimer's patient as a war time president.

The Biden administration admitted Thursday that should not have posted a picture showing the faces of members of an elite U.S. Army Special Forces unit on assignment in Israel when it posted a photo of them in uniform shaking hands with the president.

Apologizing for the mishap, a White House spokesperson told Fox News, "As soon as this was brought to our attention, we immediately deleted the photo. We regret the error and any issues this may have caused."
 
The photo was posted on the White House's Instagram account late Wednesday and included the faces of four special forces soldiers as they met Biden, who was on his high-profile trip to Israel at the time amid its ongoing war with Hamas.

"In Israel, President Biden met with first responders to thank them for their bravery and the work they're doing in response to the Hamas terrorist attacks," the caption below the photo read.
