Former President Barack Obama dropped by Nike’s world headquarters on Wednesday afternoon for a brief visit.

The visit wasn’t announced in advance, and it’s unclear why the former president visited the sportswear giant’s Washington County offices.

Two current Nike employees and a former Nike employee confirmed the visit. Obama was seen at the Mia Hamm building, which houses some of Nike’s top executives. He also toured the LeBron James Innovation Center, where Nike develops new products.  ...

Much of Nike's cheap clothing is made by slave laborers in China, so there may be a connection.
