Hard to believe that Reagan was from CA.  Now it seems the entire left coast has descended into socialist hell.

What happened?  Is this all the mid to late '60's hippies who grew up?  Love to know, how what used to be near paradise in our country, went to hell

VERY nice weather,and everything for free and it cost nobody nothing,so there was no real need to work. You  could surf,or just lay  on the beach all day and ogle the hippie chicks. Or guys,and then be rested up to party  down all night.

So what will happen to the animals at the shelters? Ship them off to other shelters in different states or are they going to put these animals down?

I can't imagine pet food companies like Hills, Purina, etc being happy with this. They will loose a lot of money if no one in this state buys pet food.

Oregon is a major dairy state. Even many Portlandians and Eugenians like their cheese, sour cream, yogurt, and other milk products.

Looks like they'll be a signicant increase in animal euthanasia in Oregon's future ... so many homeless, starving, sick animals ... no pet "ownership" - no legal basis for required feeding, shelter, and medical care.

If there's no pet "ownership", who's legally and financially responsible for the rabid starving dog that will be eating neighborhood children?

 

If I owned my dog, my dog would be picking up MY poop.  My dog owns me.  She does a great job taking care of me.

Generally,it starts out with pubic hangings,but they don't usually  last too long because  the ones that aren't hanged the  first day or two have already fled across a border and are living as refugees.
