Governor Gavin Newsom (D-Calif.) gushed praise for President Joe Biden, brushing off any concerns about his age while mocking the GOP impeachment inquiry and admitting Hunter Biden is a problem.

The progressive Democrat power broker basically pledged his undying support for Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris in an interview on CNN Monday, a move that rings hollow to many as it is suspected he has presidential aspirations himself. He continues to laugh off questions of his challenging Biden, but if the president is forced into not running, Newsom is seen as waiting in the wings to pounce at the chance of securing the nomination for 2024.

Newsom asserted that 80-year-old Biden had delivered a “masterclass” in governance and stated that the value of his experience far outweighs his age. He dismissed any concerns about Biden’s age out of hand.

Dems have a problem since don't have any obvious replacements for Biden in 2024. 
Kamala Harris is strange, a terrible public speaker, and incompetent with her regular duties.
Michelle Obama has been suggested, but she is toxic, and her wormy husband gave the keys to Trump.
Gavin Newsom governs what most people view as a place with every advantage, but in a state of chronic decline due to poor management.
Robert F. Kennedy cannot win the nomination, for various reasons.
Elizabeth Warren is getting old, and she is wackadoodle. 
Kyrsten Sinema went independent.

Their best options may be Amy Klobuchar, Gretchen Whitmer, or Andy Beshear.
