326,645 unaccompanied children have been released to sponsors in the U.S. within the last 2 1/2 years—That’s more than the previous 6 combined.

FY21-July 2023: 326,645
FY15-FY20: 247,111

Since 2016 (the start of FY15) 573,756 children have been released to sponsors in the U.S. 

Texas has had the most unaccompanied children released into its state with 13,239 as of July.
