GOP 2024 candidate Vivek Ramaswamy ‘open’ to pardon of Hunter Biden

By Jon Levine
August 12, 2023

GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is considering issuing hundreds of pardons should he be elected president — eventually including members of the Biden family.

“After the I am leading the great revival. After we have shut down the FBI, after we have refurbished the Department of Justice, after we have systemically pardoned anyone who was a victim of a political motivated persecution — from Donald Trump and peaceful January 6 protests — then would I would be open to evaluating pardons for members of the Biden family in the interest of moving the nation forward,” the 38-year-old biotech millionaire told The Post.

“It is a broad theme of this candidacy, leading us to a national renewal rather than a national divorce. It’s part of a broader vision of an American revitalization,” he added.

Ramaswamy has previously called for a special counsel to investigate the Biden family.

“I am calling for a special counsel to investigate and publish all findings relating to Hunter Biden and Biden-family business dealings,” Ramaswamy told The Post in June.

Sorry, but the title is not quite correct.

Sorry, but the title is not quite correct.

Granted the article doesn't specifically name Hunter, only the Biden family.

IMHO Just another reason why Ramsy shouldn't be trusted.  Does anyone really feel that members of the Biden crime family are innocent??

Just as an aside, we all know that the Biden family is above being prosecuted.

Well, it's actually that he said he would only consider a pardon for the Biden family after the DOJ and the other agencies had been fixed, and after everyone else, including Trump if need be, had been pardoned.

So he's really putting them last, not first.

The right answer is that he should be willing to "consider" a pardon for anyone prior to being elected.

Shouldn't make a firm commitment about anyone either way prior to then, though.

Fixing the DOJ? How does he propose to do that? It doesn't make a difference whether he's putting them first or last. With all blatant evidence against Hunter and Biden, a pardon in my books is not warranted. We're jumping the gun on this anyways as there is no way that Hunter or Biden will be held responsible.  IMHO this only shows the true character of Ramsy.
