Trump Crushes Biden: Even From Prison Trump Has More Support But Biden Defeats DeSantis - Majority Of Dems Say Biden Shouldn't Run

by: by: Matthew Holloway 08.10.2023 Source: DC Enquirer

Dramatic new polling results from Premise have revealed that 41 percent of Americans polled would vote for 45th President Donald J. Trump in the 2024 election as opposed to incumbent Democrat President Joe Biden who would only capture 34 percent of the vote. And presenting a nightmare scenario for Democrats, Trump even wins from prison. However, should Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) prevail in the GOP primary, the poll shows that he would be defeated by Biden in a single-point race with each candidate barely securing about a third of the vote, 32 to 31 percent.

The Premise results from Five Thirty Eight align closely with intra-party polling according to Timcast News which reported the GOP primary field falling in behind Trump, who sits at 57 percent with DeSantis trailing by a devastating 41-point gap at 16 percent. All other GOP contenders are in single digits and are largely no-factor in the poll.

Polls this far out are like the weather in Melbourne, AUS - every time you open your eyes, it's another season.

The only poll  that has been consistent has been Trump leading in the GOP primary. Similar to Hillary Clinton in the Democrat primary at this time in 2007

But if polls taken today accurately reflected the future, Carter would’ve won a second term, John Kerry would’ve been president, it would’ve been Hillary Clinton and Rudy Giuliani in the 2008 contest, and Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton would have fought for the presidency in 2016
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
