The acquittal of the officer was the right decision, IMO. The dead guy was a felon, dealing heroin, caught selling, car-chased, stopped, and when Officer Stockley went up to the guy's car, he was reaching for a gun when he was shot and killed. The prosecution tried the, "The gun was planted," claim, which the judge found not credible (for reasons he explained).
