Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a top contender for the 2024 Republican nomination, was involved in a car accident while traveling to a campaign event in Tennessee Tuesday morning.

DeSantis campaign press secretary Bryan Griffin told The Post that the 44-year-old and his team were “uninjured.”

“We appreciate the prayers and well-wishes of the nation for his continued protection while on the campaign trail,” Griffin added

DeSantis is widely seen as the only serious challenger to former President Donald Trump, the longstanding front-runner in the 2024 Republican race.

New info in indicates it was not a Biden supporter driving in front of the motorcade, but rather a MAGA Trumper who "Brake Checked" the lead vehicle and caused a chain reaction crash.

Anyone know the whereabouts of RiV?

Is there a political motivation behind these charges against Trump? Absolutely.

But are they without merit? We’ll see. The burden of proof is on those bringing the charges

Defend him, to the death - metaphorically speaking (one hopes).  Everything will be the fault of someone else, and he will be judged solely on the intentions they impute to him, and not on the results of what he actually does.  More or less, the same way that liberals evaluate themselves and their leaders.
