Week 38!

(I like this shade of green 'cause it reminds me of the first car I ever owned, a 1972 Plymouth Scamp).

Only 5 more weeks left to go, and y'all will be spared the pain of any more day sets being posted!

Week 48!  Now, these will look sort of strange at first - that's because they're largely transparent and really only show up well against a dark-ish background; however, what can be amusing about them is that if you place them on top of another image, the underlying image will show through and the lettering itself will have a translucent quality to it.

Week 49!  Yes, week 49 is a close cousin of week 48.  I made week 49 as a close variation on week 48 first to fix a problem with "Thursday" (wrong coloring of the translucent bits) and second to use a brighter internal fill color that might show up better on dark backgrounds and also be a little more visible on lighter backgrounds. I used the same red (html code #660000) background for both so that a comparison could be made.

Besides which, now you only have three more sets to suffer through before this exercise is completed!  Aren't you the lucky ones!

A possible theme for week 50 - this is just the Sunday, to see how it comes out (it takes a long, long time for the computer to render each vector-based image like this because there are so many different nodes to calculate, so I didn't do them all at once).

Eh.  I'm not exactly in love with it.

EDIT:  Actually, that's no longer the one I didn't like; I do like what I replaced it with.

That's it for the "Days" series; I'm done.  52 weeks of days - enough to have a unique "days" graphic for almost every day of the year (technically, 52 weeks is only 364 days, so at least one additional day - two for a leap year - are technically required).

Ok, ok, I can hear the griping already.  Don't worry, I'm not going to fill up tons of wasted space with countless renditions of the same 12 months; just a few sets.

Good stuff Oceander!  I enjoy it!

Here is a graphic you might like to tinker with a bit.  The colors are reversed, it seems to me.

How's this?

I also got rid of that pesky white background (which was all covered in speckles from the jpeg compression - now it's a nice, clean png file).

I like it!  I know that Socialism is historically depicted in red.  But given today's debate and color convention, I thought it better with the colors reversed.

Agreed.  It might even be appropriate to use the color scheme from the DNC's new logo.

At any rate, here's a quasi 3-D version of the same thing.

Here's another version of same, but with the words pulled closer to the figures to tie them together better:

Perry's campaign has a rather pretty little logo:

I wonder what a campaign website for reagan would have looked like?
