A newly unredacted February 2020 letter written by Dr. Anthony Fauci discussing the origins of COVID-19 leaves no doubt in the mind of one former State Department pandemic investigator that there has been an extensive “cover-up.”
The letter, addressed to “folks” and signed by Fauci, was part of a trove of communications and comments uncovered by the House Select Committee on the Coronavirus Pandemic, led by Reps. Brad Wenstrup (R-Ohio) and Raul Ruiz (D-Calif.) and released earlier this week.
In it, Fauci wrote that “mutations in the virus that would be most unusual to have evolved naturally in bats” were found in the viral sequence of the coronavirus strain, adding that there was “a suspicion that this mutation was intentionally inserted…” ...
“The scientists among themselves with Fauci looped in as far as the essence of communications, as of the 20th of February, were still saying that at least 50-75% bioengineered,” Asher explained. “They were essentially rejected initially by the Nature Medicine journal because they were suggesting it might not have come from nature.”
“So the cover-up is so much more extensive,” he said, “and I can only imagine what’s going to come out in the coming weeks as more of these internal communications are uncovered, and we go and double back with some of these scientists that testified under oath that they had never really taken the zoonotic story behind covered as a primary thesis.” ...
