The historic all-boys Browning School on the Upper East Side says it will now begin accepting trans students who identify as male as part of a new gender policy, infuriating some of its deep-pocketed parents.

“As a school that proudly celebrates and affirms boys at every stage of their lives, we acknowledge that the many ways in which gender can be lived and expressed are vastly different now than at our founding in 1888,” the prestigious private Manhattan academy recently wrote in a letter to parents.

The elite K-12 school — which costs $62,500 a year and was founded to educate brothers Percy and John D. Rockefeller — added on its website, “The Browning School will consider for admission any child who (i) identifies as a boy or (ii) was assigned male at birth, who wishes to join a boys’ school and is well-served by our mission.

“We will not consider for admission a student who identifies as a girl at the time of application,” the school said.

Browning added that if an admitted student no longer identifies as a boy, the school will work to accommodate the young person.

Since it's a boys' school, what's likely to happen is that some poor tomboyish girl, who has been browbeaten into believing that she is really a "he", will be admitted, and will end up getting assaulted by some of the actual boys at that school.  That, or perhaps more troublesome, that "trans" will have willing relations with one or more real boys, and will then have second thoughts when she gets caught and will accuse the boys of assault.

This will not end well, in any event.

Fed-up parent slams ‘dysfunctional’ Browning School, claims he’s being bilked for $60K after spending $1.5M in tuition

A furious parent and board member at the prestigious Browning School resigned and trashed the all-boys institution as “dysfunctional” just prior to the school planning it would accept transgender students.

The anonymous parent — who claims to have spent $1.5 million in tuition and donations at the historic institution — accused the progressive administration of trying to bilk him of thousands of dollars and unfairly punishing their children.

“Browning has degenerated into a morass of dysfunction, misfeasance, and unfairness,” the seven-year board of trustees member said in an email leaked to nycprivateschoolwatch.

“Those are serious words, and I use them carefully — as a parent and a fiduciary.”

The fed-up parent claimed he committed to a $1 million donation for the Upper East Side school in 2022 and attempted to make the payment out in two massive sums.

I doubt that the S in CA family spent $60K to homeschool our three munchkins K-12.

A red flag for what?  There are a number of extremely pricey private schools in NYC.
