I certainly see and understand your point. But, when you jump into a pivotal position in the campaign, the rules change and so do media shields.

This is what was said from the article…

So MSNBC didn’t say she was a Karen. They simply said that there are people out there who have that opinion of her. Which is true
Wives that got involved with their husband’s campaigns always been fair game. Was Hillary Clinton back in 1992? Or how about Big Mike Obama?
The untouchables have been underage children. The left broke that with Sarah Palin’s Downs Syndrome baby

I know nothing about his wife other than what I see and hear on the media,but she sure seems like an asset to me.
