Macron is pulling social media down and off the air. Total censorship and ban on all reporting in France. The French people will be unable to see outside to the world and we will not be able to hear them.
This is a little hysterical. Shutting down social media clearly is not the same thing as cutting off all reporting and communications. Reporting and communications obviously existed long before social media.
I don't like Macron, but he didn't say anything about shutting down the news media, or emails, or private publishers, or anything of the sort. Just social media.
And it didn't happen anyway.
