AMSTERDAM, July 7 (Reuters) - The Dutch government on Friday collapsed after failing to reach a deal on restricting immigration, junior coalition partner Christian Union said, a move expected to trigger new elections in the fall.

"The four parties decided that they cannot reach an agreement on migration. Therefore they decided to end this government," party spokesman Tim Kuijsten said, confirming media reports that Prime Minister Mark Rutte would tender the resignation of his government.

The crisis was triggered by a push by Rutte's conservative VVD party to limit the flow of asylum seekers to the Netherlands, which split his four-party government coalition when two parties refused to support his proposals.

Tensions came to a head this week, when Rutte demanded support for a proposal to limit entrance for children of war refugees who are already in the Netherlands and to make families wait at least two years before they can be united.

This last proposal went too far for the small Christian Union and liberal D66, triggering a crisis.

The Dutch have a parliamentary form of government, and parliamentary governments can routinely "collapse" simply because the coalition that has 50% plus one, or more, of the seats falls apart, or the ruling party suffers a vote of no confidence.

Italy, for example, has routinely had governments that collapsed in that fashion.

A congressional system such as the U.S. has is not designed to "collapse" in that fashion - the party in control of Congress remains in control until the next scheduled elections, and the president remains in the White House until the next scheduled election, no matter how unpopular their respective policies have become with the majority within Congress itself.

A collapse of the U.S. government would be orders of magnitude more serious than the collapse of the Dutch government.  They'll have new elections soon, and in short order there will be another set of members of parliament with a new prime minister, and thus a new government.

From what I can tell about the situation now, I think the actual fall of the cabinet itself is all for show. The ‘disagreement’ about immigration that they’re mentioning as the deciding factor, is not the real issue, because all government parties are in favour of more mass migration, including Mark Rutte’s VVD.

Rutte just seems to think that he can trick the Dutch people into believing that he actually wants a stricter immigration policy this time around, and he thinks he can get re-elected again if he makes these false new promises.

Do not fall for it. We cannot let him win again.

If the Dutch people stop falling for his lies and get rid of him and his globalist policies once and for all, we can actually turn things around, stop the expropriation of our farmers, push back on immigration, and take back our national sovereignty from organisations like the EU and the WEF.

In other words, this is a massive opportunity for us. Let’s pray that enough people have woken up and will actually vote for change this time. We will not get a second chance.
