Recall the job of the “overseer” for those slave-era plantations?

“Overseers supervised the slave plantations” for the slave owners in the day, reminds Encyclopedia.com.

In today’s world liberal plantations have taken the place of slave plantations - albeit to the same effect. Just as overseers targeted slaves who dared to try and leave the slave plantation, so too do today’s liberal plantations target black Americans who dare to leave the liberal plantation.

This problem surfaced yet again this week when The View’s co-host Joy Behar took on the role of liberal plantation overseer by targeting South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, a newly declared GOP presidential candidate and, yes indeed, an African American. Paired with Senator Scott as a Behar target was, but of course, Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Said the white liberal Behar of the African-American Scott and Thomas:

He is not pro-choice and he's one of these guys, he's like Clarence Thomas - a black Republican who believes in pulling yourself by your bootstraps, rather than, to me, understanding the systemic racism that African Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn't get it, and neither does Clarence, and that's why they're Republicans.

She asked me name my foe then. I said the need within some men to fight and kill their brothers without thought of Love or God. Ken Hensley

Whoopi criticized him for advocating 'personal responsibility'.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-
