Bud Light has reportedly told wholesalers that it will buy back unsold cases of beer that are past their expiration dates as sales of the Anheuser-Busch-owned brand have lagged following its disastrous marketing partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Anheuser-Busch is looking to make amends with alienated consumers who were put off by the Mulvaney social media posts touting Bud Light, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The company is planning to have Bud Light sponsor a veterans group for the first time ever, the Journal reported.
The brand will also be promoted in commercials that will play heavily on themes such as football and country music, according to the Journal.
Won't work. Without the apology it is nothing but offense. Buttweiser is not worthy to represent veterans... They sh*t on their sports fans... and they sure as hell ain't Country.
Get woke go broke.
And they will. This is a big hurt.
All that beer they are buying back is where they have been hiding their precipitous drop in sales - It ain't a mere 26%. This is all the beer that ain't going to the outlets to be counted... This is what's been stacked up in the warehouses and distributors.
I don't think they can fix it anymore. They just got their ESG score dumped, so their line of credit is in jeopardy... They have to be way below margin on sales. The rednecks ain't coming back, and their stakeholder overlords are gonna dry up their liquidity... and their share price is going down, down, down.
This is heading toward critical mass.
They have already fired their staff that jammed this deal. They have already parted ways with the marketing team that made the deal...
Maybe if the CEO fell on his sword... But that won't fix it either - Not unless the new CEO is willing to get called on the carpet, and to apologize.
Because all the capital in the world, all the stakeholder money there is don't mean sh*t if you can't sell beer.
Buttwieser has become a laughing stock.
