The collaborating mayor of Kupyansk Matsegora died in the Russian Federation after an assassination attempt
Lilia Ragutskaya | 11.06.2024 17:52 | Updated 11.06.2024 19:51Traitor Gennady Matsegora, who at the time of the occupation of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region was the mayor and was one of the first to agree to work for the occupiers, has died. Shortly before the liberation of the city, he fled to the Russian Federation and surrounded himself with enhanced security, but this did not help the traitor: on June 7, unknown persons made an attempt on his life.
Russian doctors fought for the life of the collaborator for several days - but in vain. The network reported that he died on June 10 in a medical facility. A day later, this was confirmed by the popular propaganda Telegram channels of the aggressor country, referring to a message from the traitor's mother.
So, a screenshot of a message in the social network VK blocked in Ukraine, which was left by a user named Lyudmila Matsegora, appeared on the network. Probably, this is the mother of the liquidated traitor.
"Gennady is gone... Beloved man, son and father... Gena lived all his life for people, rarely thought about himself... I don't know how to live with this, my heart bleeds," says the message, allegedly written by Lyudmila Matsegora.
"According to updated data, information about the death of the ex-mer of Kupyansk Hennadiy Matsegora needs additional clarification," Suspilne Kharkiv reported, referring to the spokesman for the Main Intelligence Directorate Andriy Yusov. . .
