So What Happens With Rusty Bowers ?

Maybe I didn't find it, but I think that Rusty Bowers was pretty much in the graces of the GOP prior to the Jan 6 mob.

But then the Nov 2020 election takes place and AZ becomes a lighting rod for the stolen election question.

Bowers says there is no evidence.  He, knowing it would not be popular, says there was no evidence.

He recounted a conversation with Rudy Gulliani. 

He get's censured, and basically run off.

Seems like a huge waste of help to me.

I didn't like Liz Cheney being an idiot, but there is no denying she was an active Trump supporter until Jan 6th.  She was totally crushed and thrown out (she needed to go.....her seat went to a Trump supporter....wonder how she thinks that worked out).

I am not stumping for Rusty's return to office...I am just asking.

Why does he have to be villified and his experience/contacts thrown away ?

He, like the current Speaker, stood in the doorway to block necessary Electoral Reform bills.  That is why I have no use for him.  And Cheney always hated Trump.

Wonder if nobody thinks about this stuff.

No wonder we are so screwed up.

Bowers, like Cheney, might have had some issues...but his overall record was pretty good.

But, never mind that.....we can't trust him......

1. Cheney and Bowers are not the same thing.

2. What has that got to do with the question at hand.  Cheney, as an asset, is gone.  And, in fact, my guess is that she makes life miserable for the GOP for some time to come.  Bowers won't and  think he would be good to keep attached to the ranks.  But, we seem to enjoy drumming these people out.  Cheney had to go....so did Bowers (and given his situation....he was going to lose regardless.  Still, Bowers has a lot to offer.  And we won't take advantage of it. 

Hello Senator Gallego (the term makes me puke just to think about it, but given the incomepetence of the AZ GOP it very well could happen).
