Libs Horrified Over People Standing for National Anthem at Restaurant: 'Most Dangerous Situation' Ever

 By Johnathan Jones

A TikTok video that shows patrons of a restaurant standing for the national anthem has gone viral after leftists who watched it expressed disgust with outward displays of patriotism.

The clip, which is only 14 seconds in length, and its reaction on the platform are really a metric of where much of the population stands in regard to showing pride for their country — and displaying hostility toward those who do.

Last week, the TikTok user paulinappa_0 tagged the Fallbrook, California, restaurant Rainbow Oaks Country Market in a video.

The legitimate powers of government extend to such acts only as are injurious to others. But it does me no injury for my neighbor to say there are twenty gods, or no god. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.

How does the country survive when one of the two major political parties supporters hate it?

Although I’ve always had my differences with Democrats, even at a young age, I never had any indication they hated the country. FDR was a big spending liberal Democrat. But he deeply loved the country.

Remember when Russia invaded Ukraine and they did a poll asking Americans that if we faced a similar situation, would Americans fight to defend their country? Independents and Republicans all gave a resounding yes. Democrats, on the other hand, said no. I commented my wife at the time why would they ever fight for something they hate?
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

I don't care where I am -- when our National Anthem is played I stand, palm over my heart and I face the flag (if there is one).  I will continue to do so.

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

When my youngest son used to play hockey for junior high and high school, when they would play rival teams, they would always play the national anthem, and it didn’t take long to figure out who  the leftists parents were

I do the same, even if I'm here by myself.

Why that is "scary" to these people has me scratching my head.

It's odd indeed, but I don't think these democrats socialists whining in outrage over this are very large percentage of the left. It's been a couple three years but I know that when my grandson was still playing little league they started off with everyone standing for the National Anthem and the  Pledge, hats doffed and hand over heart....everyone and there is no way everyone there was conservative. People have to have the courage to push back against socialism.

At my grandson's last high school home game I noticed one of his teammates little brother was fiddling with the flag pole at the little league field behind us....then he took off his hat, placed it over his heart and recited the pledge, made me smile and realize that not all is lost despite the loud protestations of the communists among us.

When I saw this story headline, I immediately thought of that scene from Cabaret... "Tomorrow Belongs To Me"...

My grandson went to a Christian Pre-kindegarten class.  They were required to memorize and recite the "Pledge of Allegiance".  It was very refreshing.

It used to be that at the beginning of every school day, the national anthem was played over the PA system and then everyone recited the pledge of allegiance.
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
