@DCPatriot

I guess my votes for DJT in '16 and '20 were figments of my imagination. Yeah, in '16 it was a "post - Cruz" hold my nose choice , but until you get your guy to rebuke his new socialist agenda, I really don't see why I or any other conservative should partake in this charade.

I'm not being dismissive of 'votes' here because it's obvious to anybody who 'knows' @catfish1957 over the years...he ain't voting for Donald J. Trump under any circumstances.

To your second point...have to firmly believe that there are MILLIONS of Democrats who aren't happy economically and despite how the media attempts to spin the facts...they know damned well EVERYTHING WAS BETTER UNDER POTUS TRUMP!

E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G.

Call them "Blue Dogs"..."Reagan Democrats"..."Poor Broke Bastards"...I don't care!

They'll take care of Mr. Catfish's ballot, or lack thereof.

I would not be too confident of that if I was you. The so-called Reagan Democrats are no more

Back during Reagan’s era, there were quite a few fairly conservative Democrats in Congress and the Senate. The only one left that might qualify for that label is Joe Manchin and he may be gone next year.

The MAGA movement is deeply unpopular with the American people. Even factoring in they recognize how bad things are under Biden.

The idea that there are all these Democrats out there waiting to pull the lever for Donald Trump is beyond pipe dreams

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

   Wasn't DeSantis's grandfather in on the William McKinley assassination?     I thought I read that last night on Truth Social.

Nah, she's siding with Trump against DeSantis. As long as she plays that game, she'll be fine.

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! What new absurdity is this?!?

What a ridiculous statement... Fully bragging about being part of the problem. And just as blind as ever - even when y'all were smarmy and strutting about as government got bigger and more ominous under your previous watch - Obviously y'all ain't learned a single dang thing.

You got that right.  Up is down.  Heads is tails.  Etc.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Perhaps we should carve another Trump zone for her again this round to post more of her leftist sourced stories.

I am completely supportive of adding a special category for lies and bullshit.

Listen up, Boyz...  Click on the link...it's what I've been saying to you guys for years.

You're still stuck on the spending deficits...well and good...I understand.

Meanwhile...we're only a Supreme Court Justice assassination away from losing the 2nd Amendment...and/or being rounded up...and you're still worried about that leaking basement sink.

And your virtue-signaling is getting on my nerves.  You both come on like avid vegans.   happy77

We're not the ones here who are compelled to tell lies about Ted Cruz.  It says a lot about your cause when your side insists on re-writing history to create legitimacy for it.

As for Trump, I understand the populist appeal that attracts you and others.  I respect your decision.  However, I cannot respect outright lies that are told against anyone perceived as a threat against him.  The bottom line is that if you want liberal government, then Trump is your guy.  But don't expect any Conservatives here to jump on board with that.

@DCPatriot

HEAR ME AGAIN: Government got bigger and more ominous under your watch.

A full THIRD of the debt we now carry came from YOU. In four years.

That the bigger, and more ominous government is now trying to take your guns (not mine) is YOUR fault. YOUR administration made it more possible. The problem IS big government... And y'all do nothing against it.

That is nothing to do with 'Conservatism losing the culture wars'. That can only mean y'all are rejoicing over the evil that is enveloping this country... As if it were only a political ploy.

What an offense to intellect.

As I said...that 'ship' has long sailed.

Personally, I've never posted a negative thing about Ted Cruz that I can recall.  To me, he was a non-factor from the start of the campaign.

Furthermore, I wanted him to get on the Supreme Court...a brilliant Constitutionalist.

Seems to me that the entire Republican 2024 campaign is going to be all Kubuki Theater...but the bottom line is that it's a simple matter now for President Trump to be himself and run on his record.
