The entire Trump 2024 campaign is an insult to every conservative’s intelligence
“Ron DeSantis did a terrible job on COVID, which is why I moved to Florida.”
“The 2020 election was stolen, but we’re totally going to get the votes in 2024.”

Etc, etc.

Check this out:

So now Trump is quoting Joy Reid’s blog to attack a republican.  At the rate Cult 45 is headed, Joe Biden is going to be the conservative option.

Nobody to the right of Chairman Mao is going to win Colorado. Colorado is controlled by Denver and Boulder, both leftist globalist havens.

Cruz beat Trump fair and square in the Colorado Republican caucus and Trump had a meltdown over it.

He beat Trump in a lot of state caucus' and every time h did Trump just increased the unsubstantiated attacks.

Just like he's doing with DeSantis.  RDS scares Trump.

Even you would have to admit that would be a waste of time.

No it wouldn't. Trump focusing on the real enemy right now and building momentum towards next year is exactly what he should be ding.

This pissy infighting and ankle biting he's doing will ensure that we get 4 more years of President Pudding Brain.

I'll probably write someone in if it comes down to Trump or Biden.  Maybe see who the Libertarians are running.

I have seen a lot of tweets from the LP and trust me you don't want to come near that party.

That neither excuses nor justifies Trump's childish, paranoid, utterly idiotic, treatment of DeSantis.

In case you haven't noticed yet, even on TBR, Trump's behavior is pushing more and more people away from him.

That’s part of it. Trump has always, paranoid, and utterly idiotic

The bigger issue is he still wants more spending with rising interest rates and a debt to GDP ratio of over 120%

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

@Kamaji

Trump was never going to get the "Miss Manners" vote to start with. That is the major reason I will vote for him. The LAST thing we need is another career politician in the WH after the next election.

Don't get me wrong. From what little I know of DeSantas,I STILL support him as Trumps VP running mate. Trump can only sit for one term and then he "times out",leaving DeSantis in the catbird seat with 4 years of actual experience at "REAL LIFE" politics at the top,so when Trump times out,he can hit the ground running and already know all the circumstances and characters he will have to deal with.

However,if DeSantis runs against Trump in the primary,I  wouldn't urinate on him if he was on fire. Well, maybe just a little.

It's not about Ms. Manners, or any other pathetic excuse for Trump's behavior.  It's about him launching stupid, false attacks against a fellow republican, leaving Biden and the democrats alone, and coming up with policy offerings that look, smell, and cost, exactly like standard garden-variety liberal policy offerings.

One could be forgiven for viewing Trump as just another democrat at this point.

When does Trumpy propose to start actually explaining why he's a better alternative to Biden, instead of engaging in character assassination against a republican governor who isn't even running right now?

????  So, exactly @sneakypete has DeSantis done????  He's a very conservative and popular governor who has been successful.  Don't tell me that you're so obsessed with Trump that you see DeSantis as a threat.

 :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:  DeSantis isn't just any governor, he is a true conservative and that is why it is so troubling that Trump is going after him.

I just saw a TV clip; the feud that Trump has started against DeSantis has now made national news!  The clip was asking if there is more to the Trump DeSantis argument.  So, Trump has split the GOP now should DeSantis run.  Frankly, I think that the DEMS wanted Trump to go after DeSantis.  DeSantis is a huge threat to the DEMS.  The DEMS have been able to control Trump. DeSantis has proven that Big Brother won't control him.

Trump is now a RINO con.  He will NEVER get my vote.

Yes,he is attacking DeSantis, and I don't blame him for that. First of all,he is running for President and DeSantis is too, even though he hasn't announced it yet. What do you expect him to do,play  kissy-face with a guy trying to beat him out of the last chance he will ever have to become President?

BTW,IF DeSantis does run for President,I will never vote for him because he has proven beyond any doubt that if it fits his personal needs/ego he will stick a knife in the back of anyone.

Holy freakin' smokes.....   You can say that after the Orange turd's behavior during the '16 primaries?  That's beyond the realm of ironic funny.

I don’t think anybody is saying that. The problem is his type of attacks. As it gets closer to the time that Ron DeSantis might announce, Trump and his MAGAs are attacking Ron DeSantis, not as another Republican challenger, he’s using left-wing websites and statistics that are faulty at best to attack him

Trump is starting to attack Ron DeSantis as if Trump’s his Democrat opponent.

Wow.  What a load of tripe.

First off, Trump attacked first, so if DeSantis has responded in kind, that's all on Trumpy's head, not DeSantis.

Second, if Trump were attacking DeSantis on matters of substance - shit that actually matters to voters - and not petulant, childish little attempts to engage in character assassination, then you might have an argument there.  But that's not what Trumpy is doing; he's engaging in childish character assassination, and is completely avoiding any actual policy discussions.

So, if you want to vote for an ineffective, provably mostly failed, ex-president, just because he has a potty mouth and isn't afraid to use it, go right ahead, but don't think that there's anything honorable about that.

So???  Trump needs opposition.  People need a choice. Or are we all supposed to bow to Trump??  Come on @sneakypete if conservatives are told who to vote for or else .... that's rather socialistic or communistic don't you think?

Just like he did against Ted Cruz and yet he didn't bother attacking Hillary until he was the only one remaining and then his attacks were soft and far and few between.

In case you haven't noticed yet, even on TBR, Trump's behavior is pushing more and more people away from him.

44% of republicans, 63% of independents, and 93% of democrats do not want him to run for president.  What does Trump choose to do about this?  He spends primary season making himself toxic to people with whom he needs universal support.

What is lost on his warrior-fanatics is the danger that Trump guarantees a left-wing future for America.  Millennials and Gen Z need to moderate their voting habits if conservatism is to survive.  Many of them can be reasoned with.  They won't switch sides if they hate the people republicans nominate.
