Trump discourages DeSantis, says candidacy would ‘only hurt’ Republican Party

If Trump was President then I can see the case of no one running against him in the primary, however, he is not President so therefore he has to earn the nomination.

I just find it interesting that DeSantis is such a threat to Trump.
