On Wednesday, Roger Roots, the lawyer for defendant Dominic Pezzola, revealed that there were at least 40 undercover informants working as part of law enforcement agencies to conduct surveillance among defendants on January 6th.

Pezzola, an American Proud Boys member, is in jail and faces charges including seditious conspiracy for his involvement in the Capitol riot on January 6th. On Thursday, Pezzola’s defense filed a motion to reveal all undercover informants related to the January 6 case.

The filed document said that there were multiple undercover law enforcement officers present during the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, with at least 40 undercover informants or agents conducting surveillance among the defendants.

Roots said, “Some of these undercover Metro officers marched with the Proud Boy march, and some appear to have played roles of instigators, in that they are seen on body-worn videos chanting ‘Go! Go!,’ ‘Stop the Steal!,’ and ‘Whose house? Our house!’ on Jan. 6. Others generally followed demonstrators toward the Capitol.”

The FBI is not supposed to  encourage or help people break the law, they should stop people from breaking the law.

Defense writes that DOJ just recently disclosed involvement of undercover officers/informants from other agencies aside from FBI--DC Metro police and DHS.

Proud Boys defense claims law enforcement had at least 40 undercover agents at Jan 6 riot

In a trial against leaders from the right-wing group The Proud Boys, defense attorneys claim they are aware of at least 40 undercover informants embedded within the group and other right-wing protesters at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.

In their filing, the defense says that the FBI, Homeland Security and D.C. Metro Police were all embedded within the group, who are accused of being complicit in the initiation of the Capitol riot.

Last week, an FBI informant embedded within The Proud Boys on Jan. 6, identified in the record only by the name "Aaron," testified for the defense. The witness said he was not aware of any plans by the Proud Boys to invade the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6 and didn't think they inspired the violent rioting that took place.

    The crowd did as a herd mentality. Not organized," the informant named "Aaron" wrote in a text message to his handler, according to The Associated Press.

While the defense for The Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio and four of his lieutenants have approached at least four FBI sources amid their efforts to build a defense for their clients, according to The Washington Post, the latest filing from defendant Dominic Pezzola indicates two law enforcement agencies operated even more undercover agents on Jan. 6 than the FBI.

Those agencies include Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), which the filing claims had 19 Confidential Human Sources (CHSs) operating at the Capitol on Jan. 6, and D.C. Metro Police, which the filing claims had at least 13 undercover plain-clothes agents among The Proud Boys and others.

In total, with the FBI, that amounts to at least 40 CHSs embedded with protesters and rioters when the U.S. Capitol building was breached on Jan. 6, according to attorneys for Pezzola.

Individuals who have already been convicted, or who are on trial for their actions at the Capitol on Jan. 6, have been alleged to be undercover informants.

Edward Rodriguez, who the defense for several Jan. 6 defendants has identified as being an undercover officer, pled guilty to a felony charge for assaulting a Capitol Police officer with bear spray on Jan. 6, NBC News reported last month. The Post has also reported that at least two FBI CHSs are on trial.

The FBI has acknowledged the presence of eight confidential human sources (CHSs) among the Proud Boys, but it is now known that at least two other agencies had more undercover agents, informants, and CHSs than the FBI.

Yep. That's the minimum. The sky's the limit on the upside, but this makes like either they don't want to disclose how many, or they don't know themselves.

The trial of Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio over his alleged role in the January 6 Capitol Hill riot has taken some odd twists and turns thus far. That pattern continued this week when his attorney introduced text messages showing that Tarrio had been in regular communications with a D.C. Metropolitan Police officer for more than a year prior to the riot.

 He had regularly exchanged information with Shane Lamond, a seasoned veteran of the D.C. Police. The texts reveal that Tarrio answered questions and shared the group’s plans, with Lamond passing the information on to his superiors and sharing it with the Capitol Hill Police as well. It’s unclear how receptive the court will be to this argument, but this revelation certainly raises some interesting questions.  ...

Picture from Jan 6 Resurfaces – Three Individuals with “Civil War” Shirts Now Suspected of Being Deep State Plants

Almost immediately on Jan 6 as soon as violence broke out at the Capitol, social media put out a picture of three white males all wearing the same T-shirt that said – MAGA – CIVIL WAR – January 6 ,2021.  These individuals are now suspected of being Deep State plants.

A picture of reportedly pro-Trump MAGA patriots on Jan 6 was shared wildly by the far-left. This picture showed three men in the same T-shirt with the same logo “MAGA – CIVIL WAR – January 6 ,2021″.  ...


However, as brought to our attention by one reader:

In the original picture, you could see all three individual’s shoes – they are all soft-soled black military/cop issue. Very few, if any, patriots walked around in shoes like this on J6.

Not only that, the pants they all are wearing are all “police issue” with cargo side pockets. I compared their pic with the videos of the cops on the Capitol steps and the type of shoes and pants are a 100% match with Metro Police. And the gloves all look like department equipment. Also, they have wires and what looks like a radio hanging from their collar, and two of them are wearing earphones. The guy on the left has some device hanging down which could be a camera, body-cam, radio device… And the ring on one of the belts might be for a baton, or…?

It also is not in keeping, with the basically peaceful nature of us patriots, who would never advertise a rally or ‘protest’ as anything remotely symbolizing a ‘civil war.’ I think any patriot wearing a sweatshirt like that would be ostracized, or shut down quickly.
