Due process has barely started; and is not yet denied.
Congressional Republicans - rather than dealing with consequential issues, such as the Debt Ceiling, the Budget, Immigration, Repatriation of American Supply Chains, and Domestic Energy Productiion - are expending Federal resources to pre-emptively investigate and oversee a nascent state prosecution and trial that is only a week old.
It is blatantly transparent that members of the Sedition Caucus are using Federal Congressional resources to run interference for the Trump legal defense team in a state legal matter.
Rather than pussyfooting around the issue, Sedition Caucus Republicans come out in the open and coronate Donald J. Trump as King of America.
Allegiance and loyalty to Tangerine Mussolini is a one-way, dead-end street. Just ask the January 6th "tourists" who were summoned to DC by Trump ... to interfere with the Congressional Proceeding to tabulate the Electoral Vote counts, ... and are now languishing in prison for their actions at Trump's behest.
Is Trump spending any of his money to contribute to the defense of his January 6th minions?
What makes members of the Sedition Caucus think Trump will aid their defense should they be charged for their participation in the January 6th conspiracy to interfere with a Congressional proceeding; to submit fradulent slates of electors to the National Archivees and Records Administration; to use the threat of a DOJ prosecution to coerce Georgia elections to "find" votes for Trump; and other activities detailed in the January 5th "Kraken" Powerpoint:
https://wehco.media.clients.ellingtoncms.com/news/documents/2021/12/11/voter-fraud.pdfThe only hope the Sedition Caucus and Trump have, is for the Trump legal team to run out the clock until Trump gets re-elected President in 2024.
