'He HATES me!' Furious Trump slams judge who will preside over Manhattan hush money trial - the same man who found his family business guilty of fraud - as he awaits arraignment

    Trump, 76, was indicted on fraud charges last night by a Manhattan grand jury
    He will travel to New York to be arraigned on Tuesday afternoon

After recovering from the 'initial shock' of a grand jury indictment against him, President Trump is now raging about the judge who is expected to preside over the case.

Trump, 76, will be arraigned in Manhattan at 2.15pm on Tuesday on an array of business fraud charges relating to 2016 hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels. 

He has denied any wrongdoing, and says he is the victim of a politically-motivated witch hunt led by the famously Democratic Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Yesterday, Judge Juan Merchan was spotted arriving at the Manhattan criminal courthouse in casual clothes last night flanked by two security officers, leading many to believe that he has been chosen for the case.

Merchan previously presided over the Trump Organization fraud trial, where the family business was fined $1.2million on a range of charges.

On Friday morning, Trump took to Truth Social to complain that Merchan 'hates' him and had been 'handpicked' by Bragg and his cronies.

Mr Trump doesn't have a chance in hell to have a fair trial in NYC. It's so blue you couldn't get a jury mix that would be sufficiently objective. Many folks dislike him intensely in Manhattan after years and years of his shenanigans (personal and business related). Trump and his lawyers will throw as many "speed bumps" as possible to delay the trial. In the meantime police are being asked to be in uniform and out in force for the arraignment. This Briefing Room category will stay busy for a long time!!

Agreed. Now is the time to show discipline! Especially against the liberal noise of NYC!!! They'll jump on you like a vulture on a warm carcass given the opportunity. But then the local media is so very slanted to the left, it acts like "bait" for a Trump who can easily fly of the handle.

Trump is more fortunate than most - he can afford to hire lawyers and experts, and can afford to appeal any conviction to infinity and beyond.

Trump better be composed in the courtroom - juries are not sympathetic to spoiled rich brats.
