Donald Trump is Campaigning As If It Were 2016
By Steve McCann

Thus far, Donald Trump is essentially re-running his 2016 campaign in his bid to win the presidency in 2024.  He has chosen to emulate his 2016 scorched earth primary campaign and hope for the same outcome despite a far different America and a far different Donald Trump.

The electoral landscape is not the same as 2016 and Trump is no longer the brash no-holds-barred insurgent candidate with whom the corporate media was infatuated as they gave him nearly $5 Billion in free coverage, which was mostly favorable, during his primary campaign.

There are four factors that were not in play in Trump’s successful run in 2016 and that cannot be ignored in 2024.  They are Trump’s highly successful but tumultuous presidency, the absolute necessity of overcoming massive voter fraud and manipulation, shifting demographic voting patterns, and as the 2022 mid-terms revealed, reliance on pocketbook and governing competency issues alone no longer win elections.

After his 'Freedom Cities' proposal, it's obvious the guy is out of ideas and can't move forward to deal with what's going on right now. He's attacking nonexistent opponents, going after the wrong people and the wrong things repeatedly with his 360 degree poop cannon.

Yet what he should be focusing on, his indictment, seems to only be of part time interest. He has a great opportunity to boost himself by dissecting No-So-Little Alvin as a puppet of the Swamp who's unfairly targeting him if he would play it right, but he keeps getting distracted by shiny disco balls.
The Republic is lost.

From recent acts and suggestions of initiatives?  More like 1936.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

That is absolutely nuts.  The vast majority of the coverage towards Trump was not favorable, even during the primaries.  He wasn't my preferred candidate but I remember that very clearly.  The problem was that the mainstream media was so out of touch that articles they intended to damage Trump often helped him.  Primary example of that was all the comments about people coming in from Mexico who they claimed he said were all criminals and rapists.  Not only is that not what he said, but voters simply took that as "this guy really is serious about addressing illegal immigration", so it helped him in the primaries.  May even have been the deciding issue.

Media generally hated him.  Their efforts to destroy him were just incompetent.

Even some among the Only Trump crew seem to be wearying of his act.
