Former President Donald Trump on Monday wildly claimed that he could resolve the war in Ukraine “within 24 hours” of leading peace negotiations, but he refused to reveal how.

Trump, 76, made the eyebrow-raising comment in an interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity that aired Monday night. The ex-president said that if the war is not over by the end of the 2024 presidential election, and he were to be reelected to the White House, he would “within one day” have a peace deal in place.

Trump argued that negotiations between himself, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Russian President Vladimir Putin would be “easy.”

“If it’s not solved, I will have it solved in 24 hours with Zelensky and with Putin, and there’s a very easy negotiation to take place, but I don’t want to tell you what it is because then I can’t use that negotiation,” Trump vowed, not so much as hinting at what his negotiation strategy would be.

He will tell Ukraine to give up some land. How much not I don't know, but that is how he will end the war in Ukraine.

The more Trump talks lately the more I hope he is challenged and is not the nominee. Unfortunately Haley so far is the only other person with her hat in the ring.

I can't believe all the Trump put downs I'm seeing.

Trump fulfilled a lot of the promises he made on the campaign trail after he was elected in 2016. I don't put it past him to be able to end the war.

LOL it reminds me of his quest for attention when he promised on Twitter that he had people working on the Obama birth certificate and they had uncovered major news.  Turns out that not only he had no info, he also had absolutely not even one person working on the issue as well. After that, I can't trust him on anything until he actually pulls it off.

You hit the nail on the head bilo.  Trump gets Bidens credit for being a ultimate idiot, despite Trumps excellent record.  Biden gets no criticism despite how horrific Bidens record actually is.  Who are the people that get iths assbackwards on purpose?  The often hiding under rocks WOKE locksteppers!  There numbers are generously here.
